Nestled on the banks of the World famous Miramichi River, Mountain Channel Salmon Lodge offers an all-inclusive fly fishing experience wrapped in the quiet nature only Canada can bring.

Start your day at the lodge for breakfast from our scratch kitchen. The homemade bread and preserves are with the trip on its own. Then hit the river with one of our professional guides until noon. After you've hooked and released a few of our athletic Atlantic Salmon, head back to the lodge for a full-course lunch.

Enjoy the rest of the day with one of our promoted excursions, tubing down the river, exploring New Brunswick's incredible nature, or basking in the sun with your favourite book. After your delectable supper, the salmon is ready to bite again. Back to the river you go to cast until dusk.

As the moon rises, relax with your friends in the comfort of the lodge, on one of our screened-in porches or gazebos, or with a wood fire in the privacy of your cabin. A good night's sleep in the quiet and darkness only the wilderness can bring will give you rise in the morning to do it all over again.

You can bring your own gear, waders and flies, or use ours at no extra cost. Our six rustic cabins are perfect for the sole fisher, groups of friends, and entire families.

We've got everything you need to make you want to come back again and again. Tucked away far from the city, this is life off the grid.

Okay, so we have WiFi in the lodge and a TV with satellite service. Mobile signals are pretty good. But, once you're in your cabin, you can really disconnect. We keep our cabins quiet on purpose. You get a bed, a lamp, a bathroom with shower, a comfy place to sit, and an alarm clock for the break of dawn. And, in the summer, an air conditioner if you find it too hot. Yes, it can get that hot in Canada in the middle of July. Turn it all off. Let your cellphone battery die, and take a few days the Mountain Channel way.

Check-in time is 3.00 pm. If you're staying only one night, the pattern is to arrive mid-afternoon. After a light supper, it's fishing on the river until just before dusk. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing in the Main Lodge or your cabin. Breakfast is at 7.00 am sharp, then back to the river to fish until noon. Enjoy our biggest meal of the day, our amazing lunch. If you're leaving, it's farewell until we meet again. If not, a relaxing afternoon after which you get to do it all over again!
